Being a recent USC graduate, Lyric Swinton was eager to give back to the community. Thus birthed the idea for Black Bridges. The mission of Black Bridges is to highlight the beauty and intricacies of the Black experience in Columbia, South Carolina in all its forms. The goal is bring awareness to Black people, creations, and ideas from an angle of being conversational. Swinton wants people to listen to Black Bridges and feel inspired and seen to give them a push to be more involved in their community.
The challenge here was developing a brand identity style that was clean, bold, and would reach black young adults throughout Columbia and South Carolina.
